Hello,
My apologies for the delay of the blog updates. We have just been moving non-stop. Just busy, busy, busy.
I’ll run you through what we’ve done for the last couple of weeks.
During the week of July 21, we talked about WATER and all of it’s uses!
On Monday some friends really enjoyed playing with our balls and basketball goals. Slam Dunk! Who knew Lions were so awesome at basketball?!
Tuesday was a fairly calm day, we used crayons and markers to draw pictures. We also got out the water buckets. (after that, we had to get out the mop!)
Wednesday we found and scooped up insects in the garden! We placed them into our own little jars then tried to go find more. The tricky part is keeping the bugs that you’ve already got to stay inside the jar!
On Thursday we had our grand garden party!
Friday, we enjoyed making a huge water collage, which can be found on the door.
During the week of July 28, we finished talking about water and a little bit about sports. Brr, where did Summer go? (She didn’t say goodbye!)
On Monday we had a great session of stretching and yoga outside on the playground.
Tuesday was a windy morning, so we blew bubbles and bounced balls. Later, we went inside to get the sand table out.
On Wednesday we played a great deal of chase and tag. We also got to visit the garden!
On Thursday we said Shalom Chaverim to one of our little friends, but the good news is she’ll be back for our party Thursday August 7th too. We really enjoyed dancing with scarves and squishing play-doh.
Friday was our second of three garden parties. Instead of using the sprinkler, we all played in the water buckets 🙂 The kids had so much fun! It’s tough to resist the urge to dump those buckets over though! Messy week overall, but who doesn’t love to get a little messy!?
Not to rush this week away but I’d like to acknowledge that THIS is our LAST week as the 2013-2014 Levi’im family. It’s bitter-sweet, but I’m so excited to see you all in the hallways!
That’s all for now…
