Those of us in Western North Carolina are reminded every day of the loss and devastation of Hurricane Helene. It was estimated that over 800,000 acres of forest lands were damaged in 17 counties across our region. So, this year, as we celebrate the New Year of the Trees, Tu BiShvat, we hope that you will join us in reforesting our community.
Our shuk in the JCC main lobby has flowering tree kits for sale, and we would love to know that our community is doing its part to help our region’s trees recover as we move closer to Spring.
Flowering tree kits are available for purchase in the JCC’s main lobby shuk for $8.00.
