Working In Series: An Introduction to the Exploration of Concept, Subject, or Technique

The process of working in series offers artists a unique opportunity to create related works which grow from one another within a particular idea, concept, or technical experiment and is an effective vehicle to unlock your imagination, capitalize on unexpected discoveries, and uncover new forms of self-expression. You’ll be surprised by the ways in which your work will grow and change as your original idea naturally morphs in different directions! Illustrated lectures introduce you to contemporary artists who work in series and the ideas behind this approach. Course assignments are designed to inspire innovative thinking and encourage you to delve into your own explorations.

Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:30 beginning 2/13 and ending 4/17
