Hate Ends Now: The Cattle Car

Presented by the Lily & Harry Lerner Holocaust Education Program with support from the Deutsch Family
The JCC is privileged to work with Hate Ends Now to bring a replica of a cattle car used during the Holocaust to Asheville. This experience will include a 20-minute projected Holocaust education video inside the car along with an artifact exhibit when it is located at the JCC. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 14 at 12 pm.

JFS staff will be available on Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15 6:30–8 pm to facilitate dialogue and provide caring support for members of the community who wish to reflect on their experience with Hate Ends Now and listen to and/or share stories of their own. This will be a welcoming, safe, judgment-free, and supportive environment for anyone who wishes to join. No participation is necessary; all are welcome to just join and be.
