DIY Passover
March 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In 4 sessions, learn songs, recipes, Haggadah tips and how to personalize the seder for your family. Adult participants are welcome to bring children as necessary. Each session is from 7 – 8:30 pm at the Asheville JCC, 236 Charlotte Street, Asheville 28801. Every participant will receive one free PJ Library Haggadah.
Seating is limited.
Tuesday, March 5: Abby Gilad, song leader and Jewish educator, will teach some fun songs for all ages, and help us to understand the nuances of the translations.
Tuesday, March 12: Tikva Wolf will share easy recipes and menu planning, and then bring us into the kitchen for some hands-on experience.
Tuesday, March 19: Rabbi Wolff Alterman, chaplain at Jewish Family Services will teach us about many Passover traditions including why we dip parsley in salt water.
Tuesday, March 26: Geri Garfinkel-Gershon, Jewish Lifelong Engagement Director at the Asheville JCC will teach us to personalize the seder, tailoring each section to your family and friends to create a unique experience.
