6:30 – 8 pm at Asheville JCC
This event will feature the customary candle lighting and Torah reading, adult workshops, kids’ papercutting activity, singalong and more.
Leil Tikkun Shavuot — An evening of study
8:15 – 10:30 pm at Congregation Beth Israel
Bring your favorite dairy dessert to share, followed by 3 concurrent study opportunities and culminating in “Antisemitism on Campus, a Snapshot” Dr. Sam Kaplan-Gershon, Interim Director at UNC Asheville’s Center for Jewish Studies
