The Asheville Jewish Community Center and Grail Moviehouse are excited to announce the Israeli Film Series beginning on Sept 11.
The first four films in the series are:
Sept 11th – Rock in the Red Zone
Oct 9th – Rabin, in His Own Words
Nov 13 – Wedding Doll
Dec 11 – The Green Prince
Films begin at 3 PM.
All movies are produced in Israel and a discussion will follow each screening!

The first film in the series is Rock in the Red Zone by Laura Bialis. The film is a personal view of the music scene in Sderot as the community struggles to create and appreciate music and their lives in a conflict zone. It’s a fantastic documentary that will engage all audiences…all ages. It’s entertaining, educational, and heartwarming – a beautiful depiction of the Israeli soul.
