Please join Congregation Beth HaTephila for their yearly Mahj Mania tournament with lunch, snacks, raffle items and more! We will be offering a Jewish-style breakfast this year with bagels, rugelach, and bobka as well as a beautiful lunch buffet and great snacks! As always, there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Who: This is a FUNdraiser for Asheville’s Congregation Beth HaTephila (CBHT). The National Mah Jongg League style of mah jongg will be played. The Asheville JCC is a major sponsor of this tournament.
When: Sunday, May 6th from 8:30 AM to approximately 4:00 PM .

NOTE: If you sign up for Mahj Mania, please plan to be at this event for the entire period from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

NOTE: If you say ‘yes’ for the card table, bring to CBHT between Monday, April 30th through Thursday, May 3rd between
9:00 AM and 4:00 PM or on Friday, May 4th between 9:00 am and noon. Be sure to tape or write your name on the underside of the table so it will be easy to identify at the end of the day. Leave your table in the CBHT conference room past the rabbi’s office. You can bring your mah jongg set (if you say ‘yes’ to that) on the day of the event.
NOTE ON PARKING: CBHT is having religious school on May 6th so there will be competition for the closest spaces. If you are able to walk, we ask you to park on the street or in the parking lot across the street. And if you can carpool that would be terrific – I will send out the list of attendees at deadline to help in this regard.
