Film Discussion: Shalom Bollywood with Special Guest Dr. Nathan Katz

A celebration of the all-singing, all-dancing history of Bollywood, Shalom Bollywood reveals the unlikely story of the 2000-year-old Indian Jewish community and its formative place in shaping the world’s largest film industry.
This week’s discussion will be joined by Dr. Nathan Katz. Dr. Katz is a Distinguished Professor in the School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University. He was the Founding Chair of the Department of Religious Studies, the Bhagwan Mahavir Professor of Jain Studies, the Kauffman Professor of Global Entrepreneurship in the College of Business Administration, and affiliated faculty in the College of Medicine, Director of Jewish Studies, and the founder and director emeritus of the innovative Program in the Study of Spirituality. He is also the co-founder and co-editor of the Journal of Indo-Judaic Studies.
