Israeli Film Series: A Mirror for the Sun

Gain insight into Israeli culture through the eyes of the country’s filmmakers. Join us on 2/9 for A Mirror for the Sun. The film tells the story of Tamar Ariel, who grew up in a religious home. Encouraged to follow her dreams, she joined the IDF air force, where she served as the first-ever Jewish Orthodox combat navigator. In 2014, she traveled to Nepal, where she found herself in a life and death struggle against the elements. Learn more here.
