Tikkun Olam Plant Drive

Shalom Children’s Center is holding a plant drive in celebration of Earth Day.  Please see below for a list of requested plants. Donated plants will be used to build the new Children’s Garden and outdoor learning spaces as environments that are inspiration for inquiry.  Contact our Gardening Specialist, Jacqui at jacquelinechilds88@gmail.com for more information.

Verbena bonarensis, Lemon verbena, Perennial geranium, Swamp sunflower, Shasta daisy, Coneflower, Winter jasmine, Lemon balm, Bee balm, Lunaria Columbine, Sedum Stonecrop, Anise hyssop, Lambs ear, Yarrow, Garlic, Chives, Rosemary, Lavender, Fragrant hosta, Mexican sage, Catmint, Chocolate mint, Perilla, Horseradish, Oregano,  Calendula seeds, Zinnia seeds, Sunflower seeds, Flax seeds, Sweet Annie seeds, Nigella seeds, Nasturtiums seeds, Borage seeds, Cosmos seeds, Vegetable and herb seeds for: kale, spinach, radishes, beets, carrots, snap peas, snow peas, corn, pole beans, cucumber, zucchini, pumpkin, varieties of squash, parsley, cilantro, basil, dill.
