We need your feedback! We are in the process of developing new wellness programs at the JCC, and would love to offer a Yoga by the Pool class this summer! The class would take place at the new David Zimerman pool on the pool deck and would be taught by experienced yoga instructor Tucker Waldron. The class would run on Wednesday or Friday from 8:30-9:30 am. We think this class would be a great way to enhance our health and wellness programs at the JCC, and want to know if you feel the same way! In order to schedule this class, we need to know if there is a strong enough interest in it. Please let us know if you’d be interested in participating in the JCC’s Yoga by the Pool this summer by emailing becky@jccavldev.wpengine.com and putting “yoga class” in the subject line.
Tucker Waldron graduated from the 300+ hour Jivamukti Yoga teacher training. Tucker is a devoted and passionate practitioner of yoga and hopes to open others up to what he has discovered through years of practice. Through his pursuit of Yoga, he has learned to be more patient and less absorbed in results and expectations. His teachers and his search inward have introduced him to vegetarianism and a healthier lifestyle while reuniting him with a spirituality and creativity he had not previously experienced. To share these gifts and facilitate people on their personal path to enlightenment is his ultimate goal. As a former Division 1 collegiate swimmer and now runner and rock climber, Tucker teaches from experience with the human body and uses the wisdom passed down from his teachers to incorporate theory and practice in yoga classes.
