Countless children at the Asheville JCC Shalom Children’s Center have enjoyed singing songs on Shabbat with Penny White over the years. Families have long wanted a way to listen and sing along to these songs at home. So we are very excited to announce that Penny (and some of her friends from the JCC) are recording a CD of these songs at Echo Mountain Recording Studios!
The CD, “Shabbat Shindig,” is scheduled to be ready in December. We are using Indiegogo to accept pre-orders to cover the expenses of making the CD. All proceeds after expenses will go to support Shalom Children’s Center scholarships. Order a musical keepsake and help another family! Pre-orders are $15 each, CDs will be $18 each after they are released.
