Yoga for Every Body
March 27 @ 8:15 am - 9:15 am

Join the JCC for this six week yoga series with Rachel Pearlstein.
Rachel is a dedicated yoga teacher who strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where students can bring their whole selves to the mat, however they are feeling on any given day and whether this is their first yoga class ever or their hundredth. Her journey with yoga began at the age of 16 when she took a yoga elective in high school. She immediately connected with the sense of calm and quiet it provided, as well as the feeling of strength and ease in her body. Over the years, yoga has become more than just a practice—it is a way of life, a source of grounding, and a community that feels like home.
Rachel is trained in and continues to study Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga, embracing each style for its unique benefits rather than favoring just one. For her, yoga is a way to connect with and care for her body, build both physical and mental strength, and cultivate moments of peace and stillness.
In addition to teaching yoga, Rachel is a clinical social worker and therapist, and she deeply values the intersections as well as the distinctions between these two fields. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time in nature, singing and playing music, and forming meaningful connections with others. She looks forward to meeting new students and sharing the practice of movement and breath.
